The National Park is a place of outstanding natural beauty, rugged mountains, lakes, rivers, islands, old oak and yew woods which are habitated by Irelands only herd of native red deer. You may also see the magnificent White Tailed Sea Eagle recently reintroduced into the National Park.
Killarney is also a perfect base for long distance walks such as the Kerry way, Beara way and Dingle way.
